An enormous concern of chemotherapy patients is that their hair will fall out within a few weeks of chemotherapy. Chemotherapy aims to attack the bad cells but will also affect the good cells resulting in hair loss.
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
1. Donate your hair to Locks of Love! By growing your hair for a person who can not do so themselves due to chemotherapy, you will not only impact that persons life but also bring a smile to his or her face. Many people take advantage of the fact that we have and can easily grow hair. Please help improve a CLL patient's life and donate today. Learn more about donating your hair by visiting Locks of Love's website at:
http://www.locksoflove.org/
2. If you have connections to a hair salon that does not already participate in an organization such as Locks of Love, persuade the salon to get involved!
3. Post this website on any social media websites such as Facebook, Twitter, a blog, etc. to spread awareness.

P.S. My sister and I both plan on donating our hair once it grows a few inches longer!
